NRML

Rusutsu - Not a Hotel

creating visions of future DESIGN

NRML (normal without the vowels’) is a creative 3D visualisation studio bringing together the fields of architecture, design, and visual communication.

Founded by BAFTA nominated film-maker, visual artist and architect Richard John Seymour, NRML was founded with the belief that seeing is believing, and that visualisation is the key tool in helping us move towards a better future.

We’ve helped the world’s leading designers and developers, such as Bjarke Ingels, Zaha Hadid Architects, and Not a Hotel to bring their ideas to life.

ARCHITECTURE

Having worked with some of the world's leading architecture practices, we understand that a great building deserves images that match its ambition. We approach every project as we would a photograph — with attention to context, light, and the specific qualities of place.

REAL ESTATE

We believe a home is sold through emotion, not square metres. Our images are built around the way a space is experienced — making a human connection that stays in the memory.

STYLING AND ART DIRECTION

Every project begins with a conversation about who will inhabit the space and how. We develop a bespoke visual language for each project — furniture, objects, light, season — so that no two projects look the same.
